Our Mission
Kkumi Project is committed to transforming the lives of boys and their families in Uganda. Through a child-centered and family-focused approach, by providing education, economic empowerment, and discipleship alongside a local church, we aspire to empower families to embrace their God-given responsibilities and build a future filled with love, dignity, and purpose.

Why Kkumi?
Our name, Kkumi, pronounced as "coo-me," carries a meaningful story within it. As our vision to support and nurture boys took shape in 2017, we began with a group of 10 boys. In the local language of Luganda, spoken where our organization is rooted, "kkumi" symbolizes the number 10. This simple yet powerful word encapsulates the essence of our journey, representing our humble beginnings and our unwavering commitment to transforming lives.
